cn=monitor, noninvasive directory monitoring tool

This has been out for a couple of years. But I just discovered it and am impressed so far. Just experimenting with it now sans the optional MySQL backend for maintaining history. Nice graphs. Can verify server is up without ICMP. Most of the data comes from querying “cn=monitor” on the target directory server. There’s this howto over on the 389 Directory project site providing some Red Hat/Fedora-centric installation help.
