Filesonic has closed. That’s the news from the BBC before the weekend. Not really news, as Filesonic had been mentioned by some analysts as being at risk. But it’s another reminder that anyone who isn’t doing risk assessment as part of a cloud-sourcing initiative needs to have their head examined. Still my number one question for any cloud provider: how do I get my data back before someone else (like your creditors, or the highest bidder at your bankruptcy sale) get their hands on it?
