Some opendj utilities

Interesting post providing an example of visualizing a complex OpenDJ replication topology with some free tools from the directory’s developers.

The OpenDJ project developers have published some unsupported utilities that directory admins may find helpful (I know I have). These can be found at:

https://github.com/chrisridd/opendj-utils

The above includes topology2dot, the perl script used to produce the topology map featured in the cited blog post.

My favorite here is the logconv7.pl script directory log file analyzer.
