Laracasts

The home page for Laracasts bears the tag line, “It’s Like Netflix for Developers”. And so it is. Sort of.

I’m not a developer, but as a systems architect I both support and collaborate with developers on all sorts of projects. Laravel is a well designed framework that implements the MVC (Model View Controller) architecture for php development. It has a lot of the features you’d expect, but like all frameworks there’s a bit of a learning curve to follow in order to master it. Laracasts seem to be an attempt by Laravel’s publishers to make that process easier.

I encourage anyone who either develops using php or supports those who do to go up and take a look at Laracasts.
