AWS Console logins

If you want to log in to Amazon Web Services (AWS) console as the account owner (root), go to

Then provide your account ID (usually your e-mail address) and password. In the event you’d already signed in as a user on an existing account and get the screen with that account name in the “Account” field, click on the link entitled “Sign in using root account credentials.”

If you want to log in as a user created in the the AWS IAM console, use this url instead:


for example, , providing the user ID (not an e-mail address) and password assigned in IAM.
