Atom the second time around

The Github guys released Atom 1.0.7 on August 12 and I finally got around to downloading the rpm so I can kick the tires. First time out I found Atom to be attractive but slow, without much to recommend it over my existing editors on Linux and Windows. Here’s hoping things turn out differently this time.
