Percona Toolkit tools

Making my way through the video presentations on the Percona Database Performance page on YouTube and kept hearing references to the Percona Toolkit, so I decided to download and try it out.

The toolkit is a free download available for Linux (in both binary package and tar gzip format) and includes a number of scripts for use in deploying, tuning, backing up and recovering MySQL databases. In addition to man pages for each tool,  there is also a comprehensive user manual that can be downloaded in exchange for your contact details.
